Welcome to Dandenongs Yoga! I'm Jo, and I'm passionate about sharing the transformative power of yoga in one of Victoria's most beautiful natural settings. Nestled in the leafy Dandenongs, our practice space offers the perfect environment to connect with your inner self while surrounded by nature's serenity.

My yoga journey began over a decade ago when I was searching for balance in a busy corporate life. What started as a way to manage stress quickly became a profound spiritual and physical practice that transformed how I approach life. The peace and strength I found on the mat inspired me to share this gift with others.

After completing my 200-hour teacher training and additional certifications in restorative and yin yoga, I knew I wanted to create a space where people could experience yoga as I had – not just as exercise, but as a holistic practice for mind, body, and spirit.

The Dandenongs called to me as the perfect location for this vision. Here, surrounded by towering mountain ash trees and the sounds of native birds, we can practice yoga as it was meant to be – in harmony with nature. Each class is designed to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what truly matters.

My Teaching Philosophy

Accessibility: Yoga is for every body. I believe in making yoga accessible to all, regardless of age, flexibility, or experience level. Every pose can be modified, and every student is honored exactly where they are.

Authenticity: I encourage students to listen to their bodies and practice authentically. There's no competition on the mat – only the journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

Connection: Beyond the physical practice, yoga is about connection – to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world around us. In the Dandenongs, this connection feels especially profound.
